SF Chronicle Reports Home Sales Up, Price Decline Slows

I came across this article in today’s Chronicle and I wanted to share it with you.  Specific items to take note of:

– In San Francisco, prices are off just 15% since the heyday of 2006

– The plunging of home values slowed at the end of last year

– We even saw modest increases by the end of ’09

– In the fourth quarter, values in the overall Bay Area and four counties – Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco and Santa Clara inched up compared with the prior quarter.
