About Rick Turley

A real estate veteran with more than two decades of experience, Rick Turley is the President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s San Francisco Bay Area Region, incorporating 47 offices and a talented team of more than 2,800 real estate professionals.

The competitive spirit and drive for success that would eventually jump start Turley’s career, began in college when he competed in pairs figure skating and toured professionally with the Ice Follies. He quickly emerged as an effectual leader and coached competitive figure skating in Sacramento for 10 years before pursuing his passion of real estate sales.

Turley entered real estate in 1986 with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and promptly developed a flourishing business and loyal clientele. He earned the company’s coveted International President’s Elite and the title of Top 1% internationally for seven consecutive years. Handling an unparalleled 80 to 100 transactions per year, he was honored as the branch’s top producer each year from 1994 until he went into management in 1999.

During Turley’s impressive stint as manager of the highly successful San Francisco Lakeside office, his team of sales associates earned several distinguished accolades. Most notable was being honored as the number one real estate office in San Francisco for sales units. The office also earned international recognition for total buyer controlled sales and listings sold. Showing exceptional leadership, Turley was eventually asked to take on the additional responsibility of managing the San Francisco Market Street office. He was a recipient of the President’s Council Award each of the seven years he was a manager, an award reserved for the leading offices in the country.

Up for the challenge and seizing the opportunity for growth, Turley accepted the position of President in 2007. Since then, he has been dedicated to providing both personal and professional guidance and encouragement to help his sales associates to achieve success. He believes that the harder they work, the luckier they get.

Turley, who encourages Agents to become involved in their local community, leads by example.  He works closely with several professional and charitable organizations.  He currently serves as a director for the National Association of Realtors. He is a former CAR Director and co-chair of the Manager’s Council for the San Francisco Association of Realtors. An active member of the community, Turley has also served as a board member on the Leadership Council of the AIDS Research Institute at UC San Francisco. He is particularly devoted to Habitat for Humanity and lead the San Francisco Lakeside office to break several fundraising records for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Northern California. As President, he continues his fundraising commitment for the organization and encourages his agents to take an active roll in their own community.
